About Casa Daniel

A small Swiss-Dominican dive school on the Bayahibe shoreline — run by people who actually dive here every day, not a corporate chain.

We take small groups out every morning to the most beautiful dive sites in the Dominican Republic. Rays, lobsters, morays, barracudas and sunken freighters — the St. George lies 73 meters long on the sea floor since 1990, and you can swim its deck on a single tank.

Beginners ride with us too: we run the full PADI ladder from Discover Scuba Diving to Rescue Diver, with an EFR first-aid module and Nitrox speciality on site.

FAQ

Before you book.

Didn't find your question? WhatsApp us — we usually reply within an hour.

Do I need to be certified to dive with you?

No — we run Discover Scuba Diving sessions for complete beginners. One shallow dive with an instructor, no certification required. You only need to be in good general health.

What languages do your instructors speak?

Our team teaches and guides in English, German, French, Spanish, Italian and Russian. Let us know your preference when you book.

Do you provide hotel pickup?

Yes — free transport from Viva Beach, Viva Palace, Iberostar, Coral Canoa, Catalonia Gran Dominicus, Dreams La Romana, Bayahibe Hotel and Cadaques.

What should I bring for my first dive?

Swimsuit, towel, sunscreen (reef-safe), and your certification card if you are certified. We provide everything else: tank, weights, and full rental gear if you choose the "including equipment" option.

Can non-divers come along?

Absolutely. Our excursions to Saona, Catalina and El Peñon are open to non-divers. Snorkeling gear, drinks and food are included.

What payment methods do you accept?

Cash (USD, EUR, DOP), major credit cards on site. Bookings confirmed via WhatsApp or email — no deposit required for small groups.
